Eye Care  Eye Surgery

"The Eyes are the window to the body"

A comprehensive eye exam includes not only a test of your vision and best correction. It is a health check, evaluating your eyes from cornea back through to your retina. There, your doctor will look for signs of possible blood pressure issues, elevated cholesterol, diabetic eye complications, as well as signs of stroke and multiple sclerosis, just to name a few. Call for an appointment. Dr. Henry Kriegstein and Dr. Lauren Bierman will be seeing patients in our Sandwich office.  Dr. Lois Townshend and Kristin Kenney, OD will see patients in our Plymouth Office at 3 Village Green, North, Pinehills, Ste.321.

Retinal Surgery; Closing retinal breaks to preserve vision

Although determined on a case by case basis, most often this procedure is done under local anesthesia allowing for a shorter time for patients in surgery and quicker post-operative recovery.
