Keep Smiling with your Eyes - 07/15/20
First, many thanks to our patients who have visited with us since the Spring. We understand your frustrations, appreciate your efforts to social distance with staff while keeping your mask on appropriately, and feel your warmth and humor come beaming through your expressive eyes. We continue to follow guidelines from the Commonwealth as we enter Phase 3, month 4 of COVID19. At this time, we can report we are fully open, offering all services including medical/surgical procedures for adults and children, annual visits, contact lens fittings and Cosmetic Injection treatments. Our office hours have returned to Monday thru Friday with some Saturdays available.
What to expect when you arrive:
Doors remain propped open entering the office wherever possible.
Staff have changed uniform to scrubs.
All entering, patients, family members, driver, companion... are still required to wear a protective face mask that covers nose and mouth.
All arriving will have their temperature checked. Anyone with an elevated temperature of 100.4 (CDC guidelines) will be asked to return home, follow up with their Primary Doctor, and alert our office of any positive COVID test results.
Our offices are marked with social distancing clues and chairs are cleaned and positioned appropriately.
Extra face guards have been added to our equipment, all staff continue to wear masks while in the office, and exam rooms are wiped down after every patient.
The option is available to alert us of your arrival and wait in your car. You must check in with our Front desk staff. We will ring your mobile phone (with the number you provide us). Please be sure to answer. If our staff feels it is necessary, they may request patients to wait in their car as a safety measure.
In an effort to have as little paperwork as possible, our front desk assistants have made adjustments, please continue to follow their instruction.
As always, please call (508)747-4748 to reschedule if you are feeling unwell, or timing of your appointment does not work well with making care arrangements for other family members not being seen on that day.
Know that we are working daily to answer your phone inquiries, refill your prescriptions, and answer your concerns. All our staff join in thanking our patients for their care and concern for front line workers. Our goal is to continue to care for your best vision, your health, your safety.
